A Classic Breakfast

So Dad wakes up this morning and says: "Toby I really slept well. Um... Where is everyone?" He calls: "Rumpy! Timmy! Fitz! Eine!" Of course I am no tattletale.

He gets up and it still calling for some cat. Any cat. He says "Toby what is going on?" He is worried. He wonders what can be happening

Then he goes to the kitchen and sees this. The cabinet is wide open and the ferals cat food is ripped open. Of course there is only one of us who opens cabinets

Yes it is Oh-So wonderful Timmy. The cat who does no wrong. No one else can open a cabinet like him.

Of course it was clearly that fat tailless blunderer, Rumpy, who tore the bag asunder. Half a breakfast was given and only Miss Fitz was interested. I of course had my Fancy Feast and enjoyed every bite. Who is the good kitty now, Timmy!

Beware the quiet ones! Great skill, Timmy, with back-up breaking and entering by Rumpy, assisted by Einie and Miss Fitz. Does your crew have a name? Can we join? MOL MOL!!! xoxo, Bibi & Meep

Oh my gosh, Rumpy is the bad guy? Looks like the ferals lost a
bit, but I'm sure Dad will buy more. Toby, so innocent.

Well, YOU are clearly the mart kitty around there...and had your WHOLE breakfast, right. Good not to tattle, because you never know when THEY might tattle on YOU.

I'd say, it's all conjecture and circumstantial evidence, kitties!
Don't let him pin it on you, without clear DNA proof...

Oh boy! You guys had a party last nite!

Oh boy. Yes, who's going to be interested in breakfast with a tummy already full? Oh, and I know the feeling of worry when things are suddenly abnormal. Sigh. I hope the next meal-time was more like the usual.

Kitties do what kitties do and they know where everything is and they know how to get into whatever they want. Well not the can-opener, but they are working on that too.

Have a fabulous day. 😎

hi it's my first time here and now show up in your head or that it says forget everything you thought you knew about cats well I don't know much about cats except for what my husband tells me from his past because I've never had anything but the dog or dogs. Everything I know about cat I've learned from all my friends and blog land because I have many many friends that have cats and no dogs and then I have friends who have cats and dogs and I have friends who have donkeys the best thing to know is I love comments and I thank you very much for yours and for the information about the congestive heart failure responds well to meds. I love any and all furry animals that have four legs most of all but I love all living things Critters I mean. Very interesting that Timmy can open cabinets and then the rest of you dive in

Too funny! We had to cat-proof our cabinets, so we feel your pain Dad!

Some kitties had a big breakfast! My Smokey also would have torn the bag open. She once opened a bag of potting soil hoping it would be food.

Our first kitty, Groucho was an inveterate and skilled cabinet door opener...so we had child proof locks on them long before we needed them for the unfurbros!

A simple fix is a rubber band, or a ladies pigtail scrunchi...placed on the two door handles/knobs, then they only open so far...and they will close themselves as well.though a really smart kitty might just be able to remove one of those...it did help with Groucho.

Long time ago, I stored unopened bsgs of ct=at food under a couch...but then MJF came along...and one night he discovered them...and had himself a HUGE snack...no brekki for him that day MOL!
