Timmy is Thankful for Dad

Hello friends and thanks for stopping by. We always enjoy seeing each and every one of you not only on Thankful Thursdays but anytime you grace our pages. You are the best. Now I want to get to my Thankful for the week who is none other than my Dad. He has been such help to me after the bad time I had last week. Did you know I was held captive for 3 days. You can read about it here on Herding Cat Tips.
Since I have been licking at my special food dish that Dad keeps for me but it is hard to tell how much I eat. You see I graze on the family dishes too. Dad says he will keep those dishes full until Einstein rolls against his foot MOL. It does make it harder for him though.
Last night I got my first medicated ear rub. I didn't even mind. Dad thought it would be messy but no, rather nice. Today (Wed) I almost ate a whole can of The Feast of Fancy, and, it's not even Dinner!
Yes, if it wasn't for Dad I would be in trouble. Then again he says the same about me. Sorry for this long post. I blame Dad MOL

We are joining Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. We hope to see your Thankfuls too

Timmy it is wonderful to hear that you ate a whole can of Fancy Feast. You just keep working towards a better day every day and I'm sure your dad will be so happy. After all you have to keep Einstein and Toby in shape.

Yay, you're eating! That is good news, and what a good boy you are to let Dad do your ear rubs, it is a fiasco when kitties don't cooperate with ear meds, I know from experience - MOL!

Timmy! You have no idea how happy we are (especially our Mom) that you are feeling better! We will keep the purrayers going for you and we are hoping you all (especially your Dad) have a marvellously happy day!

Such wonderful news indeed. You're eating and I'm sure dad will make sure you can eat anything that's good for you. That's the way good dads roll.

Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday, Timmy. My best to your siblings and your smart dad. ♥

Here is what I said to John Bellen on his page and replying to your comment to him:

Timmy's Dad's last paragraph sounded a strong chord with me, as well as do your writings about your little ones.
I could easily go into a long blog of my own- and I may do so one day about how the varying personalities of our cats here have woven all our hearts completely together to this moment in time. The cats have very different personalities; and being as deeply loved as they were and are , they returned that love to us along with their council and their companionship. Their well placed nudges were present to keep us in the path best for us on occasion. The cats we are blessed with, each of us, are special, unique and more in connection with us than we ever realized until they aren't any longer, because they had to leave us.

Timmy, Tucker's doctor said that Tucker can be on Mirtazapine indefinitely, though it may not always have a strong effect on him. I hope you won't need to take your ear-medicine forever, but if you do, may it always be effective. But first things first: you are eating! Every time a sick cat eats, that is one less day a human has to worry (even though we continue to worry nonetheless...) Keep eating, Timmy.

Gosh, I just read that whole ordeal on the other blog. What a nightmare! We give our Harley transdermal Mirtazepine every other day and it really helps him. He was/is losing a bit of weight (he has CKD). But the Mirtazepine definitely works for him. I hope Timmy continues to feel better and eat!
