Thankful for Friends & Neighbors

Hi Friends. Yesterday Dad went out shopping and when he came home we all crowded around having a good old time. Einstein and I were jumping in and out of the play house and grabbing toys. Miss Fitz was all "pet me, rub me, give me ham" while Toby and Tim were on the table snoopervising Dad filling the larder. So how does this relate to our thankful? Our Neighbor Dug out our drive with his big machine while another gets Dads mail. A friend came by and dug out the car, twice, and made sure there was no ice on the carport. Without all that help Dad could never have gone shopping and come home to safely unload where we all had fun. And we sure are thankful to see all our blogging friends. We are thankful fur-sure.
Now lets see who I can bother. I may be thankful but, after all, I have a reputation to maintain!

We are joining Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. We would be thankful if you joined us!

It is nice that you have great neighbours who all help out.
There is a young family at the village end of the lane. They can't visit because of lock down, but they regularly phone to check we are okay.

Hi Guys! What awesome neighbors you have! We live in a tiny village and it is like that here. Mom, Alex and Mr D all take turns digging out Mr G in the winter. Once he can get out of his driveway he is A-OK. We even help him with his lawn in the summer. Mom is still grateful for all of the people who went out of their way to help her out when Dad was sick last year. It goes on all over our village, which is one of the reasons we love living here!
And you know what...we are thankful for you guys! You make us laugh with your antics and you come and visit and you leave comments. You guys are AWESOME and have a marvellously Happy Day!

Good neighbors are like precious gold and gems! We are happy that you have such good ones.
Sometimes at my work I will clean off other cars if I know they are working late and its so awful to be tired and have to do that still. Mostly the 'recipients' don't have a clue that it was done, let alone by whom:)

I am so happy to read that your Dad and you all had that help! My mom had help once back in 2015 from a neighbor. That's when she had that whoopy-do open heart surgery. When the snow flew a few months later, and piled up with the ice crusting the driveway and walks, even if mom would let me out I couldn't dig us out, no matter how fast I used my back legs. She was not recovered much from the surgery, and the only neighbor ever to do this, came over after she made some attempt at getting snow off the sidewalk...and without a word, cracked the ice, and dug us out. Mom to this day, and me too, is still grateful for that.

You are certainly blessed with such wonderful neighbors ~ though we have a little suspicion that you have done your fair share of kind and good things for many of them as well, it seems to us that is just the sort of purrson you are!!! And we imagine they are thankful for you!
Take care ...
