Thankful Rumpy Bump

We are joining Brian's Home for their Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

I have been having a time of it. Dad you tell them alright.
My meow is all scratchy and congested.

Hi, Dad here. My white warrior has had a very bad time with his asthma. He is usually very mellow while at the vet so yesterday I was surprised he tried to bite Dr Lane when she tried to look in his mouth. He would not let me open his mouth either. We are pretty sure it is a broken tooth but then he would not relax enough for an xray which again is not his normal. He generally is gone for 10 minutes, they have a scan and everyone is saying what a good boy he is. He would not even let them trim his nails. We are on a 10 day course of antibiotics with steroids daily on top. Hope to get him a bit better so he can have an xray to determine if he can have his dental.
Please send our court jester purrs and prayers so he is back to better really soon.

So am I thankful for the V. E. T. Not exactly. I am thankful
for having a Dad who cares enough to keep working to keep me well. Even when I have been such a bugger

Oh, dear, Rumpy! Pawlease let the peeps who care for you look at you so you can get the right treatments to make you all better again. We are sending tons of purrs and pawyers, too. Hope the current meds will help a lot.

I am sending you lots of healing purrs, Rumpy! Binga had a broken tooth not too long ago, and it was causing her a lot of distress! She was able to get a dental, but like you, she needed some meds beforehand.

Oh dear you poor boy, I'm sending you all my purrs and prayers that you get better real soon. Good luck with the antibiotics, and I hope they help. It's no fun when you're out of sorts and out of character. Our best to you, dear Rumpy.

Oh Rumpy I'm hoping you will feel better and let your Dad and your vet take proper care of you....when we are out of sorts we don't want to be "messed with" I know but it's for our own good. I'm sending you prayers and lots of POTP!!

Hugs, Teddy

Poor guy. I will be praying for him. Can he take gabapentin? That is what I have to give KaTwo and Polar Bear 2 hours before a vet apt.

Rumpy, we are sending purrayers and POTP that you are feeling better soon. We are glad your Dad knows that you are not being bad, but must be feeling really sick.

Rumpy you handsome mancat, prayers and more prayers for you. You must feel terrible. I wonder of there is a sedative that would help relax you to allow for a scan and a look in your mouth. I know you must hurt to have fought your dad and the v-e-t.

Oh, this is not good. Rumpy annoyed to the point of biting is definitely a sign of trouble. I hope the medicine works so a good examination may be made. I have a couple of mine going in for dentals, so I know the feeling - but it's better to get bad things over with quickly, Rumpy, so you can get back to feeling good.
