Thankful Rumpy Bump

We are joining Brian's Home for their Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.  

I have been having a time of it. Dad you tell them alright.
My meow is all scratchy and congested.

Hi, Dad here. My white warrior has had a very bad time with his asthma. He is usually very mellow while at the vet so yesterday I was surprised he tried to bite Dr Lane when she tried to look in his mouth. He would not let me open his mouth either. We are pretty sure it is a broken tooth but then he would not relax enough for an xray which again is not his normal. He generally is gone for 10 minutes, they have a scan and everyone is saying what a good boy he is. He would not even let them trim his nails. We are on a 10 day course of antibiotics with steroids daily on top. Hope to get him a bit better so he can have an xray to determine if he can have his dental. 
Please send our court jester purrs and prayers so he is back to better really soon.

So am I thankful for the V. E. T. Not exactly. I am thankful
for having a Dad who cares enough to keep working to keep me well. Even when I have been such a bugger

Seeing Miss Fitz having her birthday and another year pass really made me think of what a thankful cat I am. You know Dad almost said... well that is a story for another day.  I sure am thankful for my warm bed,  my tasty noms, for an under-chin-scritch, oh I like those and, most of all, for the love myself and all us cats get from Dad.

Our 8th Blogoversary

We started this blog on May 22nd 2011. That post was really just a "Hey There" kind of thing. Then on the 27th I actually did a post about the days of the week and exploring Dads nightstand. Which I do not admit knocking over.

Remembering Angel Teeny Tiny

Hi everyone Miss Fitz here! Today we are joining in with The Cat on My Head for their Sunday Selfie Blog Hop. 

It has been a sad few weeks with the loss of many friends. 
Today we are remembering a little scrap of fur that Dad fostered for three short days. He was thought to be born on 04/08/11 and was brought to Dad along with his sisfurs and brofurs on May 16th from New Jersey after his feral mother had been killed.

Dad saw right away that he was very tiny. At half the weight of his sisters and brothers he was hardly a kitten. Just a tiny scrap
of fur. Dad named him Teeny Tiny. 

He was started on kitten formula as he had a hard time eating. 
When Dad went in their room for breakfast he was gone.
He went over the Rainbow Bridge but not before he got three days of  love from Dad.

Luckily the other kitties all thrived with Dads care and were all
adopted to loving families within a few months.
We remember Teeny Tiny every year as a symbol of those who 
are lost. Please Support TNR and free Spay/Neuter programs
where you live. Thank You

The next group of kittys Dad took in had guess who with them.
It was not an easy time but in the end it worked out.

Friday with Fitz: Beejeezus

Seeing Buddy move so slowly makes me realize that time passes
for all of us.

It seems like such a short time ago that he was Beating the
Tar out of Toby and was our Big Blue Alpha Cat.

I guess there is only one thing to do
Whap the Bejeezus out of everyone while I still can!

Thankful Einstein

Hello Everyone. When I was a feral kitten it was cold and damp. My Mom worried about me because my brofurs would not let me eat and then I stopped moving. She carried me to the porch of the lady who fed us and she called Dad. She knew him from work. She said she thought I was dead but Dad said to bring me right over. He put me inside his shirt and sent his sisfur out to get a heating pad. You know what, when I warmed up I started moving and he fed me formula he made up. I was looking a bit rough and still hungry but he said I had to eat slowly. At 4 weeks I had a lot to learn. I am still a bit feral but...

I am really thankful for a warm lap to nap on.
