#RememberMeThursday with the Tomcat Family

Angel Timmy here to say how important this day is as we are all shelter, foster or rescue kitties. I was fostered by Spay and Save when Dad adopted me and starting this blog ball rolling

I was at Kitty Cottage which is a nice rescue where the cats roam their assigned floor. Dad was "just visiting" and I tapped his shoulder. His friend was looking at cats and they came back the next week. Guess who tapped Dad's shoulder a second time.  This Cat! Thank You Dad for my wonderful home.

I love this day as it encourages people to remember those who are in shelters. I was saved by a group that Dad did fostering for but, sadly, I am a failed foster. Without groups that support shelters a kitty like me would be in trouble in the "pound". Today I am happy and have a home.

Because Dad had posters of rescues in his work cubicle a lady who had walked by a few times knew he was the person to call when she found me on her doorstep at deaths door. Of course he adopted his little bottle baby. Love that guy
Da same ting happen wit me'z. Da lectritian saw Dads poster when hiz son needa new home fur Buddy Budd. Ah waz 8 an Dad lookee but no findee so he say ah cain live wit him. Lovin ya Dad!
I was a failed foster along with Miss Fitz due to my FIV. If Dad did not know the truth about FIV from his work in rescue I may have never had a chance.
Shelters, rescue groups and fostering gave us all a shot. We thank them all. Please support your local shelter!

We are Joining Lola the Rescued Cat to raise awareness of those waiting for you to adopt and not shop!

We were First Right Guessers on The Tuesday Teaser at Two Spoiled Cats. Hope to see you next week! Maybe you will be a Firstie too but make sure you study!

We are so thankful to be rescues and are joining Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. As you hop along remember Brian in your purrs, we will be!

Fitz's Win-Win Thankful

Hello friends. We're all grateful you stopped by to visit us today and everyday you do. Our followers are the very best and know we care about you all.
Today I am Thankful for Dad having a bit of extra help from one of our cat rescue friends. She is going to come in every week for a bit of busting the dust which helps us, and feral cats. How you ask, well, she drives up and down the alleys putting out kibble in all kinds of weather and knows many of her ferals by the names she has given them. She also helps with TNR and getting socialized kittens to new homes. Just about every penny she makes  cleaning houses goes to the cats. Dad says he gets a Win and Miss Jo and the cats get a Win too! A Win-Win makes for a great Thankful!

Katie is a kitty brought off the streets by Miss Jo to Cat Crew, the rescue she works with. Katie's leg was in bad shape along with her eye but they told the vet to save her. She is now in a loving home.
We also support Spay and Save.

We are joining Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Hope you have a thankful to share this week too. Its nice to have good in the world

A Thankful #RememberMeThursday

We are joining Brian's Thankful Thursday because we are all rescue cats and are thankful for Dad taking us into his home. That is why we support Remember Me Thursday!

We support all TNR, Spay/Neuter, Rescue and Foster Programs!
We need a No Kill Nation!

Our Family Angel Teeny Tiny wants to share his story
"I was a little scrap of fur that came as a foster. Dad Pete saw how thin I was and started hand feeding me right away and scheduled a vet visit but, unfortunately, I did not make as I was already too weak. Even though I died I got a day of love and care and my brothers and sisters all got homes. How wonderful.
Because of this lesson Dad Pete worked triply hard when Einstein was brought to him years later and managed to save him.
I watch all the cats and dogs who never had anyone coming to the Bridge and am so very sad. Please support TNR and your local Rescue Groups so this can be a No Kill Nation and there are no pets born and dying on the streets. Thanks Friends"

Please visit our Friend Lola the Rescued Cat for this great hop.
We are monthly Supporters of Tabby's Place a wonderful rescue where cats, no matter their issues, have a chance.
If you have a chance make sure you visit and say hello to the staff and kitties

An Important Message from Teeny Tiny

Hello all you out there in hooman land...
This is Teeny Tiny.
Yeah yeah I know. I went over the bridge but remember that I am a cat, well, kitten. We have special powers to communicate with those on the solid plane. We Angels will always come down in times of need spreading Kitty Angel Dust, but, some of us need to do a bit more. I want to pass on an important message so here I am.

All of the kitties I was fostered with have homes. I still cannot believe that Buttons and Fitz moved on in with Dad. They sure were smart kitties. The truth is I was lucky to have been in a loving home before I went to the bridge so feel it is my duty to try and get the word out on those who do not have a forever home.
Please help a local rescue group by fostering, volunteering or donating what you can. Even a little bit can help.

Well I better get to it then. You see Dad supports a local rescue called Kitty Cottage. They are a cage free cat only rescue. How cool is that! Me and my Angel pals hope you will join in their Auction that is going on right now. Some of the items are local but others can be shipped and you can choose things like a Spay/Neuter for a new resident or kitty who is fostered. Take a look. Maybe you will find that special something for your furry friends.
Thanks so much
Teeny Tiny

Thanks so much

Dad had decided he was going to keep me but I had to come here to help others. We all do our part and I thank you for helping my Dad pass the word.
