| Today is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day. A special day where we remember those dear fur friends who touched us so deeply and are no longer with us. We are Hopping along with Deb Barnes of Zee & Zoey's Cat Chronicles creator of this day and Hop in honor of her cat Jazz. |

Age before beauty *ducks a swat.* Dad remembers all of our angels and holds them deep in his heart as do we. Those who have been following our blog for a while will remember Mr Buttons and Buddy while I am the latest family member to join heaven. We call it Heaven or the Bridge and hope no one takes offense. We believe all creatures are there after they pass. We are not sure what form but know that we would like us all as we were, having a great time in a special place. Dad agrees. He wants to see us all again, hold us close and lay in the warm grass with us when his day comes. |

| Hi friends. Today is a special day for all black cats! Since 2011, cat lovers around the world have celebrated Black Cat Appreciation Day on August 17th. It is a day to celebrate and appreciate the black cats in your life. If you don’t already have a black-furred feline friend but have been thinking about adopting one, Black Cat Appreciation Day is an excellent day to visit shelters; many animal shelters, including the ASPCA, run adoption specials for black cats on this day. I hope you have a House Panfur already but if not and only if you have the room to add a kitty or get your first kitty go to your local rescue and check out the Black Cats. You will be glad you did! |
