Family Rainbow Bridge Remembrance

Today is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day. A special day where we remember those dear fur friends who touched us so deeply and are no longer with us. We are Hopping along with Deb Barnes of Zee & Zoey's Cat Chronicles creator of this day and Hop in honor of her cat Jazz.

Dad remembers all of our angels and holds them deep in his heart as do we. Those who have been following our blog for a while will remember Mr Buttons and Buddy while I am the latest family member to join heaven.

We call it Heaven or the Bridge and hope no one takes offense. We believe all creatures are there after they pass. We are not sure what form but know that we would like us all as we were, having a great time in a special place. Dad agrees. He wants to see us all again, hold us close and lay in the warm grass with us when his day comes.

Angel Buddy Budd's Thankful Mew Years Eve Gotcha Pawty

Hi Friends and welcome to our Mew Years Eve Post. It is Angel Buddy Budd's Gotcha Day so he will be the host but first we wanted to let everyone know how Thankful we are for you all to be in our lives. It has been a difficult year for everyone and having a way to connect and have a bit of fun really helps with the strain. Thank You All for visiting and a big Thank You to Brian and his family for the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. It sure helps us keep the shiny side up through the dark.

Thanky Thanks Timmerz. First I would like to intraduce our family Angels. That Fiery gal is Amber, then furless Coco, mom Pee and son Inky, our Patrol Leader Big Stinker. Yo. Then my friend Budd and My Gal Kali from The Canadian Cats and at my side Mr Buttons. We are flying over Mew York and will keep an eye out for that ball drop and... What's that Stinker? Der is an Introoder! Well, it must be an earthly friend so no worry... Nope, Look! WHAT? LETS GO FELLA!

I saw him trying to sneak into 2021. Git Him!
Pass me another magazine to make sure 2020 is a goner
Great work Buddy. We angels have to keep on patrol over everyone!

Coco is a bit exotic so for appetizers chose Baked Brie, Bacon Deviled Eggs, Shrimp Cob Salad and Lemon Shrimp Skewers

Big Stinker here with the Meat: Baked Chicken, Glazed Ham, Hearty Pot Roast and Lobster. Miss Fitz I have a special Ham plate made up for you. He's Flirting. Silly Toby he's an Angel

Me and Buddy will be your Bartenders tonight. We have Beer, Tea, Coffee, Whiskey and Wines. Cocktails to order of course

Me an Angel Kali wit da desserts. Cheese Cake, Nanaimo Bars, Chocolate Fruit Cake and Strawberry Cream Cake

Thankful Dad

Hello friends
I want to say Thank You to everyone who commented on Buddy Budd's Forever Loved post. He was a big voice on our blog and we hope he consents to visiting from time to time when he can tear himself away from his beloved Canadian Cat Gal Kali. 
His story was so much more than his big meow posts. He was the voice of older cats, discarded, forgotten, lost and scared, that find new loving homes and then go on to give so very much in return. A strong and imposing cat he was amazingly gentle and stabilized our home. That he needed daily care was never a chore but rather a celebration of life, of enduring spirit. Silly really, when you think of it, all that from an old cat that was no longer wanted.
Thank You Friends for your care and Thank You Buddy Budd for all you gave our family.
