Rump Day: It Was a Big Stinky...

I think just about everyone who commented on my Sunday Selfie Post wants to know what The Stinky Thing was. It was 4-5 inches so pretty large with black wet fur that stuck out all over. Dad just dropped a pile of paper towels on it and threw it into a bag so no exam of its bits.
It looked like the head was gone but Rumpy swears he didn't nom it.
Together, after checking good old Wiki, we are sure that it was a:
Big Stinky Short Tailed Shrew!

There you have it. Mystery solved. Now for my next mystery...
No More Mysteries Rumpy!
But Dad, Fitz did it!

We are joining Comedy Plus for Wordless Wednesday. Sorry I had to explain what the Big Stinky was so I couldn't be wordless could I

Rumpy, I think you were set up to take the fall. That Einstein is clever.

We made Mom look up that shrew so we can see what it looks like. We definitely have never seen any of those around here, and Mom says she doesn’t want to. Whoever brought it in the house, we know it was meant to be a gift! Yikes. Well, we are glad Dad Pete was able to identify it!

Pete, Mom is so very glad you did NOT post a photo of the "Big Stinky" in lieu of words. She says she sees enough of the carcasses that I, Marv and Kozmo bring home. We get extra treats for the moles from Mr D next door. He does not like the damage they do to his garden.

A shrew! That's a new one. Interesting choice, Rumpy.
