Thankful for Variety

Hi friends. We are all so happy to see you today and want to let you know we appreciate each and every one of you stopping by. Thanks so much.
Now let me meow about something near and dear to me, Variety. Now being a cat, and you fellow felines know this, I do not mean Variety in my living space or things like that I mean Variety in food. At our house we have the same type which is pate but, have chicken, fish, beef and more. Dad even switches up brand occasionally. Then if one is not available we don't go on a hunger strike (horrors) but dig right in. We have had friends who's parents went crazy trying to find one particular brand and flavor for a finicky cat so it is good to teach Variety from kittenhood. We even have variety in treats. I mean how can you go wrong with that.

We are joining Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. You should too. Then ask for treats. Lots and lots to treats!

I eat a lot of different food too! Actually I love food, period. I'm pretty un-picky.

Us pups are two different pups, that is for sure!
I, Dalton, vacuum anything in my bowl..and its the same each day, LOL!
I, Benji, eat the same food as Dalton...But...it has to be 'decorated'...and not the same each day, please!

Yes variety is good, we hear the peeps say that about their own noms!

Glad y'all get some variety in your diets. I'm doing okay, but mom and dad have to feed me special stuff because of my kidney issues. They do, however, occasionally sneak in a lower-protein can or pouch of stinky goodness now and then as a treat.

Variety is nice but sometimes Mom can't FIND variety in the stores - things have changed lately with cat food availability! Not fair!

I'm one finicky cat, I tried variety a couple of years ago and it disagreed with me every day that I ate something new. So I have my dry Chickie and as long as it served on time by someone who loves me I make do.

Angel Nicki was VERY picky and we had a LOT of variety then. It drove the biped crazy to open 3 or 4 different cans (flavours/brands) and have him disdain them all. Now Derry gets one brand of canned and 2 brands of dry (he doesn't get much dry, it's mostly wet food) and a couple of flavours of treats. We do keep a couple of other brands/flavours on hand just in case, though.

Food variety is a good thing indeed, unless it's a variety of diet food MOL! Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

I had a picky eater many years ago. She likes Fancy Feast, but not all of them. Very expensive and frustrating when she wouldn't eat some of them.

Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. Scritches all around and my best to your dad. ♥

Angel Milky-Way and Angel Madi were both lovers of FF Pate...neither would eat the sliced or chunks. Favorite flavors were the seafood mix and Beef and Chicken and liver.

You have one lucky Dad, can you kitties teach mine to try something new? We are having a time trying to find their faves.

It's terrific that you have variety!
The Hubby and I try to switch things up a bit; the most finicky of the cats is Paddy O'Malley, and he can catch a mouse for his dinner if he doesn't like what I put out.

Variety is the spice of life! We like Fancy Feast Grilled only, but different flavors. Like Chicken, Turkey, Turkey and Giblets, etc. As long as it's not fish!

Variety is good for humans as well as kitties, Rumpy. The boys like chunks in gravy, but it had to be small chunks. I bought them a different make but the chunks were bigger and they wouldn't touch it until I chopped the chunks smaller. They would eat a whole mouse though so what was that all about!

You are what my mother's generation would call "good eaters." Enjoy and stay well,

MY mommy keeps me hopping with a wide variety too, for the same reason your dad does.

Hmmm, our Mom does that too, even though we do have our favorites...and some we won't touch-Like salmon, we will eat salmon if it is leftovers form Mom's supper or is smokes or freeze dried treats, but if it is in a can of cat food, we ignore it totally! Rumpy! You look great dude! we hope you and your family have a marvellously happy day!

It's good to have variety. Sounds like your cat dad knows how to mix it up for you all!

Sawyer has taught our humans how important it is to have a huge variety of foods available, as they never know what that boy might eat. The rest of us are pretty happy with salmon pate! Here, too, Rumpy. I have quite a few varieties to try on my beasts if they get fussy, which is every day or so...
