Thankful Dad

We are joining Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop
You should too!

Hello friends
I want to say Thank You to everyone who commented on Buddy Budd's Forever Loved post. He was a big voice on our blog and we hope he consents to visiting from time to time when he can tear himself away from his beloved Canadian Cat Gal Kali
His story was so much more than his big meow posts. He was the voice of older cats, discarded, forgotten, lost and scared, that find new loving homes and then go on to give so very much in return. A strong and imposing cat he was amazingly gentle and stabilized our home. That he needed daily care was never a chore but rather a celebration of life, of enduring spirit. Silly really, when you think of it, all that from an old cat that was no longer wanted.
Thank You Friends for your care and Thank You Buddy Budd for all you gave our family.

Yes, I will miss Buddy Budd's strong personality very much. I know the other family members will entertain and enlighten - especially Rumpy! - but Buddy Budd will be sorely missed.

Buddy was such a strong personality, not unlike Binga was on my blog. He will be very much missed.

He sure had that 'something' in his purrsonality, didn't he?

He will be missed but remembered forever!

We all loved Buddy Budd as indeed he spoke for all those "discarded" or elderly kitties out there who depended on the kindness of others and loved those who gave them a secure home. He certainly was the Patriarch of the family and forever will look out for you Dad Pete and all his furrramily forever. Hopefully - like Angel Sammy - he will return and let us know how things are at the Bridge where he is resting and relaxing and missing YOU ALL.

Hugs, Teddy and Mom

It's so hard to lose someone like Buddy Budd. Hopefully you can continue without him there in the furs, but he will always be with you in spirit.

It's not silly at all. I don't think we ever "get over" the losses of our loved ones, no matter what species, and the ones with the huge personalities can be the hardest of all to accept.

Lots of hugs and purrs from us.

What a handsome guy and what a beautiful post. We lost our Tucker two weeks ago. He was 17 and I cherish every moment I had with him. He too was a presence on our blog but he trained the other feline bloggers well and he will always be in our hearts, as Buddy is in yours. I'd like to think he and Buddy are trading head bonks in heaven.

Buddy Budd is a kitty I will always miss and remember dearly. I loved how he spoke to us each time he did and the things he had to say. As Kea said, we never get over our missing loved ones. We learn to live with it.
