Einstein and Timmy's Big Trip to Rome Where We Meet a Celebrity Kitty

Hi Furends. We had a meowvelous trip this weekend with our Cat Scout furends. It was hosted by Maggie and Felix and they did a super job. I am going to let Einstein take over as he keeps running around and jumping up and down. Go ahead little buddy.

Thanks Timmy. Cat-O-Cat what a fun time.
We left on Saturday afternoon after our monthly Birthday Gothca Day Pawty at Cat Scout HQ.

Here we are at the airport. Pete H was pilot with Raz as co-pilot.
Those cats are the best in the business. My beautiful gal Shoko
was right next to me the whole trip. I was in heaven.

The interior of the CS jet is amazing. We settled in fur the flight. Hey you fellows there are some pretty Lady Scouts like Cat and Willow. Paws off Shoko!

We had a good nights sleep and got up early to see Rome.

Shoko had her picture taken with the Gladiator actors at the
Coliseum. She was braver then me. Those swords looked
sharp. Ouchie, MOL!

Here we are in Saint Peters Basilica. We climbed up the Baldacchino to better see the amazing mosaics.
Beautiful. And even better, we got away with it!

You cannot visit Rome without shopping. I took Shoko to Versace, Fendi and we ended up at Gucci. As you can see we had one or two bags to carry home. Oh my achin paws.

We wanted to get in a little water fun but there was a snag.

That was soon remedied and we were zooming around.

Einstein lets meow about the most exciting part of the trip. We got to meet the famous author, Bailey Boat Cat! His book, Bailey Boat Cat, Adventures of a Feline Afloat, is available just about anywhere and we, Heartily me swabbies, recommend it as a fun read.

He sure was a gracious host Timmy and answered all of our questions about being a kitty at sea and life on the Nocturne.

Our hosts for the trip Felix and Maggie did a wonderfur job of managing the Cat Scouts visit with Bailey.

He showed us around and explained about jibs, sails and... or was that sails and jibs... suffice to say this cat knows his nautical.

We about fainted when he said we could climb the mast. That is Sunny on the mast with us and Maggie and Felix checking out the great blue sea. No mermaids, darn.

All too soon it was time to go and our limo could only fit us and Sunny for the trip back to the airport. Some kitty went a bit overboard buying his gal goodies.

It was a wonderfur trip and thanks again to Maggie, Felix, Bailey and our pilots Raz and Pete H. I also want to thank you Einstein, you really did a great job with this post. I couldn't have done better.

No you couldn't... just kidding Timmy. So kitties if you want to join in the fun come on over and join us at Cat Scouts.
