Friday with Fitz: If it Fits, Fitz

So Dad read me his book: If it Fits, I Sits.
This looks like it will, a little anymeow.

I saw Einstein in this box and Rumpy too!
How the heck... did they...

No Fits, No Fitz! This is the Pits

We are joining 15 and Meowing and Four-Legged Furballs for Friendly Fill-Ins. We love to learn a little bit about all of you and hope you feel the same about us.
Dad is doing 1 & 2 while I do 3 & 4.
1. I never thought I would Fly until The day I actually did. The first lesson there was wind shear where the plane went totally upside down only 500 feet over the ground. The instructor said she didn't know how we lived but she did save us both. I never went up again
2. A Calm and Unfettered Mind is the Secret to Happiness. When I was young I was tortured by my mind and always being anxious about all social interactions. I started meditating and read all I could find about the practice. It took years but along the journey that "bad head" went away, Yes, I still have a touch of crazy pants in my head but it is a thousand percent better. Try to Meditate friends!
3. I’m happy to announce that Rumpy has a good heart even if he is a bugger. We all agree he has really stepped up to help Dad since Timmy left us
4. The Cat Yard is like a second home to me. Yes, it's all "Home" but being outside puts me in a really good mood. I am a cat after all. We should all have walks or Catios!

Clearly, you enjoy a box with some room, Fitz, kind of like my human, who prefers bigger houses.

Perseverance, Miss Fitz. I am sure you could get in there if you tried harder! Flynn loved tissue boxes. He could only get his front legs in, but he pushed and wiggled to try and get his shoulders in too.

That plane flight must have been really scary!

What grand filling ins! That "first flight" sounds like it would put anyone off flying...haha....my David has been flying over 50 years and fortunately (!) never had an encounter with wind shear. Meditation is wonderful for the heart AND soul.

Hugs, Pam

Looking cute in the Fancy Feast box Miss Fitz. Enjoy your time outside I think that's just lovely like you. We should all learn to meditate just like your dad. After all I believe that's what you kitties do a whole lot of.

For my 40th birthday, a co-worker took me up in his Cessna plane.
I sat like a block of wood the whole time, having a real fear of heights!
When in a big commercial plane, it's less noticeable, or there are more things to distract a nervous person.
Yeah, I'll never do that again!
Congratulations on your meditation habit.

I think dad should make sure the boxes are a bit bigger so you can all fit in them.

Love your fill-ins. That first one is scary. I'm glad you both survived.

I'm glad that Rumpy is taking care of business.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Scritches all around and my best to your dad. ♥

Too bad the box was a no fits Fitz! Those were good answers. Our Dad used to fly too, twin turbo prop, instrument rated. No more though, he totally gave it up.

How adorable! Great answers to the questions! :) <3

The instructor should have and could have known that wind shear was there before ever leaving the ground. You know that from wind direction there at the runway and checking information that is always available. . I am amazed she took such a chance. Was that in Montgomeryville?

Nice poem Miss Fitz. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers from both of you. I am impressed that your Dad can fly a plane. I have social anxiety, but have taken Effexor for 15 years and wish I had known of it before then. Have a nice weekend. XO

Great poem and those fill in answers were very good. Mister Kitty and Daphne need a catio. He will venture outside, roll on the sidewalk and if he hears any sound, he charges the door to comeback inside. I am grateful for that. Once when Rose was still here on earth, he knock the screen out of a window and he must have told her to follow him outside. Cause she did. Her crying woke us up. She literally leapt into dad's arms. Mister Kitty was in trouble for causing a middle of the night rukus and scarring poor Miss Rose. Our little chi Roxanne was that way too. If it was snowing she'd be like, uh no you ho out in that cold and wet snow hahahaha. ARoxanne has a faux fur trimmed parka. and she refused to step outside with out it. I miss her and Rose the feline - they were so good. Now the pups and Mister KItty are very naughty. Meowwwwwww

Have a good weekend everyone and Rumpy it is good to know you are being so sweet. Aw......

My dad owned a small four-seat Mooney with a friend of his when I was young. He got his instructor's permit and I wanted to learn to fly when I was old enough (think I was around 13 at the time). Before that happened, my dad's partner crashed it. He was okay but the plane wasn't. I think they sold it and it is somewhere in California now.

That is a pretty small box! I never would've flown again either.

That sure would have scared the daylights and more out of me to be in a plane and nearly having an accident...yikes! I went up in a glider once...and once was enough...I almost left my lunch in the pilot's neck, LOL!

I prefer commercial airplanes although I have not been in one for years, and the way things are these days, likely not for a long time to come.

Miss Fitz, your poetry is fun!
You didn't fit? We used to sit with good close fit in those boxes...esp Pipo enjoyed them a lot. Minko loved the 'real' boxes the best...so he could hide, then ambush with whaps any passers by, LOL!

Smudge said...

So sorry Miss Fitz didn't fitz! Dad says he loves the crazy pants in the head comment...
