Katie is Thankful for Rescue Friends

Thanks so much for coming to our Thankful Thursday and thanks so much to Dad and the Tomcat Family for having me as a Guest. I hear a very loved kitty named Sawyer is home and we are all joyous with his family
My name is Katie and as you can see I have had a tough life so far. I lived in an alley with my Mom and Siblings. The Rescue people, Cat Crew who are friends of Dad, put out nice food but I was the only one to go into the strange box to get some. I was really hungry as I could not see to find food and something happened to my foot. I was walking on the top of it and there was a big sore that got infected. I was a tired kitten. The doctor person said they should give me the long sleep since I had Gangrene but my Rescue Friends said to do what they could to save me. I went to sleep after a shot. and when I woke up my eye no longer hurt but I still couldn't see. My foot was... well it didn't hurt but it was somewhere else I couldn't see. I fooled the doctor and made a fast recovery.

I then went to my Rescue Friends house and stayed in a small space for a week. Now I have my very own spot with really interesting stuff like this Cat Tree. It sure doesn't look like a real tree but it is nice for a cat. I am now feeling better and look at how I can climb. I like the safe little cubby where I can keep an eye on things. I hope my family follow me here as these are some really wonderful Rescue Friends!
Dad here: We lost our power until today so are posting very late. It is wonderful Katie was saved just in time before her infection got to be too much. She may even be visiting soon to see how she gets along with our family. Katie we all love you and wish you the best!

We are joining Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Hope to see your thankful and please help your local TNR/Rescue like Cat Crew so they can help kitties like Katie

Oh Katie, I am so glad you found loving rescue people to help you.
It is so sad to see cats outside where they do not deserve to be.
If you find a happy home soon, that would be fun to see more of you.
And hurrah for Sawyer!

Unfortunately, we can't end suffering everywhere in the world but if we help just one who is suffering, that means the world to that one. Kudos to everyone who helps save even one life, like Katie's.
