Einstein's Bare Bottom Selfie

Here I sit, broken hearted, my floof is gone and we've just started. At least that is what Dad threatened. Just look. I am Nekked!

Here is a closeup. There was a BIG mat in my furz. It was uncomfy and Dad trimmed it out.

Now I feel a breeze on my Bare Bottom, and, you can see my *!  It does feel better though. Thanks Dad.
Salright!

Oh, dear...but it will soon grow back and I am sure you will be as floofy as ever!

At least it does feel better - and that's a good thing!

Even the ghost looks scared! Don't worry it will grow back, and as long as it feels better that is the important thing.

You'll have plenty of time to grow back fur
before cold weather. In the meantime, thanks to
Dad, no more uncomfy matt. Hang in there Einstein.

Well that's good, I hear those mats hurt!

We are glad it feels better, Einstein. That was great that Dad Pete helped you out like that!

You probably feel fresh and clean - maybe a little too fresh back there. I suspect you'll be lying in some warm cat-beds as the temperatures fall at night, at least until your floof returns.

At least you feel better, Einstein, those fur mats can be painful. Don't worry, your magnificient floof will be back very soon. Purrs

Matts can be really horrible and no matter how often you brush they still happen. Our Dusty was nightmare and you only had to look at him for mats to appear.

You still look amazing though * paw hugs *

Well, we think you'll feel better without that mat, Einstein...even if you'll be a little cold.

Well, here's the thing: Dad gets a big plus for taking care of that uncomfortable mat and making you feel better, but then there's the question of his insensitivity in posting the embarrassing (em-bare-assing?) results here for all to see. Hmmmm.

Boy Einstein, I had an almost similar problem back 4 months ago. The Vet had to shave one out. Thank goodness it was small as a quarter BUT it hurt--- and I got mad when mom tried to fix it. I know you feel 1000%, handsome!

Mummy says Angel Possum used to get mats there, too.
We do feel your pain over the indignity, Einstein - but it will grow back soon, never fear.

Mats are the worst. It's great that your dad got it out for you, even if it did result in you having a nekked rump for a couple weeks.
