Man Cat Einstein

Man Cat Monday with Einstein Dad
I was going to show you how a Mini Man Cat handles kitten duties but then Dad said he wanted to say a few words.
*Sigh*
Go ahead Dad

Friends I do hope you are all well and are weathering this national health crises. I am over 65 so I need to really follow the recommendations stay safe. We hope you and everyone you know is following along also. Yes you young folks too!
Being a RN I must stress the most important ones of social distance when you are in public and hand washing! This includes social distance from anyone, even family, who you do not personally know has followed these rules themselves. This may be difficult but only for the next week or so and then we will know whats what. Stay safe.
One positive thing I hope will come of this is people will start being neighborly again. Today I had my two neighbors from one side come by to check if I needed anything. Brian said through the door: "We will stand back for distance." Nice. Right on the money. Yesterday the other side neighbors called. I assured them both the old one legged guy was fine and appreciated the thought. Of course I let them know I was available if there was any need. Have your neighbors been in touch? Have you reached out?
We send our support to you and yours.

Einie you sure were a cutie, (many) a few moons ago!!

Our peeps are also in that ancient age group, though they are not retired. All our neighbours are young and seem to be fine. They wave to eachother over the fence...
They call on the phone or chat with texts, etc with our unfurbros.

We have some stores here that have special hours on a couple of days for essential workers and other days for seniors, both are in the hour before they officially open. Petcretary is eligible to go to all four of those shopping hours, because she works in health care...and is over 65. See we told you she was ancient! MOL!

And we wash and we wash...and then we wash!

Us furry ones love having our peeps home more:)

I'm glad there are neighbors looking out for you! My human doesn't know any of the neighbors, and since she is not older, obviously capable of taking care of herself, and keeps to herself, nobody has looked in on her at all. And the people she lives around all have family and she knows people are looking after them, so she doesn't have to check on them either. I guess we aren't very neighborly around here!

Unfortunately people here aren't being so nice. Hoarding, being cursed at, and one man even got sprayed in the face with Lysol for a sniffle at Kroger.

Those of us with long term health issues and the over 70s have been told to self isolate for 12 weeks for our own protection. We have already been following social isolation. We are fairly remote where we live and don't often see neighbours, but the girls who keep their horses with us phone to make sure we are okay, and one picks up the essentials for me when she gets her shopping.
I am glad that she can do that because none of the supermarkets have home delivery slots before the end of April.

Neighbors helping neighbors would be the only part of this I'd keep.....it's nice to know people ARE looking out for each other. WE WILL GET THROUGH THIS.....TOGETHER. Stay safe!

Hugs, Pam

People are showing their true colors these days. Fortunately we see more good than bad behavior. Although I can't imagine they need all that toilet paper...
Yes, stay home, phone or email friends, pet your cats!

Einstein, you were such a tiny thing! Glad your Dad has reminded us
of safety first above all else. Our neighbors are good too, and staying
indoors. The cold rain has encouraged more indoor than out. Stay healthy,
all of you.

Oh Einstein, we so remember the wee you pal! Our peeps are both 65+ and are staying home except if there is a food run that needs to be made. Others have checked on their needs too and so far neither one has felt the need to go out.

Our society has grown into such a me-centric world; this pandemic means THINK OF EVERYONE ELSE!
My 88 year-old mother is whom I'm most concerned about; she isn't following protocols, because they are her own children!

Einy-what a cute little one you were - and you're a handsome mancat now. Dad Pete, we are so glad you are doing well and have considerate neighbors. We support your call for everyone to follow the protocols and think of your family, friends, neighbors and even just those you pass on the street as deserving the same care/carefulness. Actions have consequences - let's make them good!

Awwdorable little Eini💗It's good to hear that the neighbours are taking care of each other. We still do everything the same as usual. We're still allowed to go outside, if we keep distance. It's another story when you're at the supermarket, where a lot of people don't keep distance at all, because it's almost not possible. We heard yesterday that this situation will hold on until the first of June, but when we all working together, Granny and I have faith it will come to an end much earlier. For now I'm happy that Granny and Grandpaw are both at home, it's a good thing out of a bad thing, don't you think😸😸Pawkisses for a Peaceful Tuesday dear furriends🙏Stay Happy Healthy and Yourselfie🐾😽💞

It's good that I am on my two feet. I have to be, not only for me but for my son. No one either side, nor across the street cares one whit if I am alright..I am.. and I don't even know their names but not for lack of trying to engage them. So I depend on what has kept me all this time through thick and thin.
Einie.... . I love your picture and thank your Dad for the positive giving message.

Einstein is a cutie pie kitten! We have an older neighbor and we've been keeping up to date, sharing TP stockpiles, it is a good time to have and to be a good neighbor.

Aww, Einstein, what a cutie! Dad Pete, we are so glad you have neighbors who are looking in on you. :)

Adorable Einstein! I remember him at that age.

And very neighbourly neighbours. Though I hate the term 'social distancing'. We should be ohysically distant, but not socially, as your wise neighbours demonstrated so well. In any case, Dad Pete, I hope all continues well for you and your family.
