Today we remember Angel Inky who was a special little Panfur who lived with Dad from 1985 to 2007. He was a grand 22 years young. He was here when I came and we had some fun together. We miss him and know he is watching over us all.

Caturday Art and Winna's!

I hope you like my Christmassy Art. I used Frost and darn if Toby didn't say "Wow that is Cute!" I had to give him a cuddle and post it for you all. Dad liked it too which meant a LOT.
See I jump onto the table from the china cabinet all the time. Well yesterday I don't know what happened but I lost my footing. I slid into the wrapping paper, the Whap wrapping papper slid into the coffee pot, the coffee pot slid off the table and landed upside down in the little basket Dad keeps stuff in like chargers and... well you get the idea. There was Steam coming out of his ears! But we made up. He said I am a good girl most times.
Dad said we should show off our Teaser Wins today. We love Teaser Tuesday at Two Spoiled Cats

On 12/01/20 we were First Guessers and that one makes up proud as we don't get many of those

This was from 11/24/20 for Thanksgiving

And we got a Teaserween one Woo-Hoo!

Festivity with Fitz: Peaches and Paprika - Celebrating All Year Long

They're Back!
Those two merrymaking felines with even more festivity and playfulness. A most wonderful book to have for your own or a a gift for that cat lover you know. It is chock full of rollicking fun for almost every day of the year.
Do you know your impawtent holidays?

We all know when Valentines Day is (well, almost, my beau Toby got a stern meowing to this year)

But do you know when National Pink Day is?

How about the Day of the Mushroom?

And our favorite National Pack Rat Day. Dad is this your Day?
We have all had a tough year, many more than others, and this is just the book to let us all remember that life is smile, laugh and enjoy the sillier aspects of. Again we see the excellent photography and image editing skills of Carol Lowbeer. That said Peaches and Paprika really steal the show with their poses and antics. No matter how you celebrate this time of year this book is one you need on your list of gifts to friends and family but make sure you get a copy for yourself. The eBook will be available today on Amazon and you can also get a paperback if you like. A purrfect gift look for it on Amazon:

Thankful for Winnie's Wish

Hello friends. We sure are happy to see you this week and that is because we have something special to tell you about. Not that you all aren't very special to us here because you are and we really appreciate you stopping by to see what we are doing. In fact it is because you visit us that we think you will be interested in what we have to say. Curious?

We are going to say a little about Winnie's Wish. You see Winnie was a tiny little kitten who years ago was rescued by a nice woman by the name of Chrystal. Sadly Winnie passed on to the Bridge but Winnie had a Wish and that wish was to help others get forever homes and be protected. That wish came true but it is also true that rescue costs dollars. With that in mind Andrea of Celestial Kitties decided to start the Holiday Auction for the Rescue. Since many of you donate to rescues and shelters if and when you can now there is a way to help out and maybe get a gift for yourself or a friend for the holidays. Yes it is time for:
Winnie's Wish Auction and Fund-Raiser

Now you can see why we were excited to share how thankful we are are for Winnie the rescue and everyone who helps out even if it is just to take a look. You can also take the badge for your own blog if you like.

We are joining Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Thanks friends

In Purrsuit of Flavors: Colourful Cuisine

Today we are joining our friends at The Canadian Cats and Easy Blog for In Purrsuit of Flavors: Colorful Cuisine

This recipe come from our resident Chef at Cat Scouts, Pete H. who makes sure our bellies are always full.

Minorcan Clam Chowder
Minorcan people came to St Augustine Florida in the late 1500's
as indentured workers on indigo plantations, and they developed recipes using the food they could grow here. This is one of my favorites!

Ingredients: Minorcan Clam Chowder

1 lb. frozen chopped clams

1/2 lb. salt pork, diced

1/2 medium onion, diced

1 lb. potatoes, diced

2 stalks celery, diced

1/2 medium bell pepper, diced

1 15 oz. can crushed tomatoes

1 15 oz. can tomato puree

1 can clam juice

1 tsp. Italian seasoning

1 tsp. marjoram

2 bay leaves

3 datil peppers, diced

Fry down salt pork until browned. Add onions, celery and bell peppers. Fry until tender. Add tomatoes and continue cooking. Boil potatoes in another pot until 3/4 done; drain. Mix cooked down tomato seasoning and dry seasoning with potatoes and clam juice. You may not need all the clam juice, depends on the consistency that you want. Add clams and diced datil peppers. Cook until clams are done. Easy Peasy!
