Tuesday with Tim: Fun with Bags

First we want to thank all our friends who are nice enough to stop by the blog and keep up with our family news. You are the best. Welcome to the very first Tuesday with Tim. It is a work in progress so it may not always be on the third Tuesday but, so far, this looks like a good fit.
This week I had to fly down and say how much I Love Bags. Not those paper bags all cats love but the ones made with tasty plastic. 

These bags are also fun to play in! Dad really frowned upon that too but, at least he gave us paper bags in replacement. I wonder if, when we meet again, he will be policing the bags?

And there also was that plastic that wraps cases of cat food. Yummy. This picture is of me getting busted in 2012. I always liked to chew it and Dad would take it away. We had a real battle going for years. Hee, Hee. Now I am an Angel I can chew all I want.

I came home last week and I had a nice reception from Dad. We talked for a long time and I told him not to be sad. I am now young again and having fun. He said he knows that but still misses me a lot. There were leaky eyes all around. Then he introduced me to Stuffie Tim and I know we are going to be good pals
This week we received a beautiful hanging from our friend L.P. who is the mom of Cat, from Cat Scouts. Thank You!

Dad also found a neat shop on Etsy called CindiHaleCeramicArt. She will do custom work and Timmy is great. I told her the white on his face was not symmetrical and sent pictures. She nailed it! Timmy is between Mr Buttons and Buddy Budd. Just Purrfect.
Dad also got this wonderful hand crafted sleeping tabby on Etsy from NunwellGlass. They have different colors so give them a look

I think it was Eric and Flynns Blogoversary  yesterday. I should have checked but they were off chasing mousies. We Angels never stay still you know

Friday with Fitz: Sorry Dad

I wanted to look cute while I explain how I had Dad going crazy. It was Monday and for some reason I wasn't hungry. I licked a bit of breakfast and then was off through the cat door. There were Boomers in the afternoon with big winds but, strangely, no rain. Anymeow, I was not at dinner and then I was not around for treats on the couch. Sometimes I sit where you can't see from the window so Dad went outside into the cat yard and got worried, scared even, when he saw a BIG branch had blown down and was up against the cat fence. It was 4" around and 15' long pushing the fence down and leaning over it at a pretty shallow angle. Dad thought "Fitz could go right over that if she wanted" and was really worried. He did get it down and then called my name over and over and over and went as far as his electric wheelchair could go. No Fitz. He kept thinking of our dear friend Sawyer who is missing. He sat back down and was planning to put out the camera and our traps with food when... it started raining pretty hard. Of course I ran in and hopped onto the couch, wet, to say hello, like nothing was wrong. How did I know? Sorry Dad!
Later he found the door to the secret room was open a crack. I zip in there if I have a chance due to mousie history. Dad thinks I was in there all day. I'm not saying!

We are joining 15 and Meowing and Four-Legged Furballs for Friendly Fill-Ins. Hope you have some too they are Fun!

1. I just can’t bring myself to Stop whapping. Come on its fun. Try it and see!

2. I have a hankering for Ham. Dad has been really good with a daily ration.

3. Having a Home changed my life. There is nothing like being loved and having a home. We always purr for those who live on the streets. I know. That's where I came from.

4. At this stage of my life, I am not slowing down a bit. Life is fun and I have it so nice. I hope you all have it that way too!

Dad here. Miss Fitz gave me such a scare we redouble our Prayers and Purrs for Sawyer and The Kitties Blue

Timmy's Thankful 14th Birthday

Happy 14th Birthday in Heaven Timmy. We are so thankful for the 13 wonderful years of fun and love you brought to each of us. You were such a good kitty I decided to give others a chance and when you welcomed each and every one you reinforced those decisions. You have been my friend and companion for many years and and I miss you dear friend.

Rump Day: One Mad Cat

Rumpy come on
You are getting my Snide Side
It was only a trip to the vet. You can't still be mad.

I am Mad and will be for a Looooong time.

Dad here: Rumpy has really been having troubles with mucus and his asthma. For the first time I could not be with him and a friend took him to our new vet. He pitched a fit. The vet, my friend and a tech could not trim his nails he fought so hard. She said he didn't try to scratch or bite but just thrashed so hard they all got it. He is a big boy. After a break he did get his trim of nails and some mats cut. He got an antibiotic shot for a URI and his steroid changed. He is better today and we hope this helps a good bit. Thanks for Purrs
