Thankful for Friends & Neighbors

Hi Friends. Yesterday Dad went out shopping and when he came home we all crowded around having a good old time. Einstein and I were jumping in and out of the play house and grabbing toys. Miss Fitz was all "pet me, rub me, give me ham" while Toby and Tim were on the table snoopervising Dad filling the larder. So how does this relate to our thankful? Our Neighbor Dug out our drive with his big machine while another gets Dads mail. A friend came by and dug out the car, twice, and made sure there was no ice on the carport. Without all that help Dad could never have gone shopping and come home to safely unload where we all had fun. And we sure are thankful to see all our blogging friends. We are thankful fur-sure.
Now lets see who I can bother. I may be thankful but, after all, I have a reputation to maintain!

Rumpy's Thankful Christmas Eve

Hey Folks Rumpy Bump here being Thankful this week. Yeah, I can hear you all meowing "Rumpy is Thankful? What is all this then?" Well what it is is... here I am. I mean it. Being here is great! I have a wonderful family who loves me, a Massive Gift Pile and I am here. Dad was not sure I would make it last month, but, I fooled em. I fooled em all and I plan on being a bit ornery and tricky, well, being Rumpy, for as long as I can. Why? Shhh its a secret, I love them too!

Rumpy here. If I look a little down its because my Asthma has been really bad. The steroids make me feel bad but they are better than my coughing spells.
So what am I thankful for?
For a Dad who cuddles me and worries and gives me my medicine and for friends. Please send some purrs and prayers my way.

I feel much better now.

Thankful Rumpy Bump

I have been having a time of it. Dad you tell them alright.
My meow is all scratchy and congested.

Hi, Dad here. My white warrior has had a very bad time with his asthma. He is usually very mellow while at the vet so yesterday I was surprised he tried to bite Dr Lane when she tried to look in his mouth. He would not let me open his mouth either. We are pretty sure it is a broken tooth but then he would not relax enough for an xray which again is not his normal. He generally is gone for 10 minutes, they have a scan and everyone is saying what a good boy he is. He would not even let them trim his nails. We are on a 10 day course of antibiotics with steroids daily on top. Hope to get him a bit better so he can have an xray to determine if he can have his dental. 
Please send our court jester purrs and prayers so he is back to better really soon.

So am I thankful for the V. E. T. Not exactly. I am thankful
for having a Dad who cares enough to keep working to keep me well. Even when I have been such a bugger

11th Gotcha Day and Commentathon to benefit a no cage cat rescue. Dad will be sending 30 green papers to Kitty Cottage to help cats and kittens at this wonderful home for those in need.
