Thankful for the Little Things

Hello friends and let me say I am so really thankful to have you drop by today. I have thinking since being shut in from the cold, thinking of the little things. A chin scritch from Dad, re-discovering a fun toy, having an extra good nap are all nice, but add in an email from a friend, seeing a funny post, learning good news and these little things add up. They add up to a contented happy life. Yes, Dad told me many years ago to keep my paws on the ground and revel in little bits of daily goodness. In todays world this is even more important. Hope you have had some nice little things in your life today!

Timmy's Thankful For What We Have

Hi friends we all hope you are doing really well this Holiday Season. Yes, it has been an odd year for the parents but all in all this home is thankful. Dad is healthy for an old guy, I feel good, Toby is looking handsome with lustrous fur (he made me say that), Rumpy is big and naughty, Fitz is Whappy and Einstein is a bit wild. Even Fanny Feral has been a regular for meals and heck there is a vaccine. We are looking at what we have and our hearts and not what we are missing.

Thankful for Winnie's Wish

Hello friends. We sure are happy to see you this week and that is because we have something special to tell you about. Not that you all aren't very special to us here because you are and we really appreciate you stopping by to see what we are doing. In fact it is because you visit us that we think you will be interested in what we have to say. Curious?

We are going to say a little about Winnie's Wish. You see Winnie was a tiny little kitten who years ago was rescued by a nice woman by the name of Chrystal. Sadly Winnie passed on to the Bridge but Winnie had a Wish and that wish was to help others get forever homes and be protected. That wish came true but it is also true that rescue costs dollars. With that in mind Andrea of Celestial Kitties decided to start the Holiday Auction for the Rescue. Since many of you donate to rescues and shelters if and when you can now there is a way to help out and maybe get a gift for yourself or a friend for the holidays. Yes it is time for:

Seeing Miss Fitz having her birthday and another year pass really made me think of what a thankful cat I am. You know Dad almost said... well that is a story for another day.  I sure am thankful for my warm bed,  my tasty noms, for an under-chin-scritch, oh I like those and, most of all, for the love myself and all us cats get from Dad.
