Tuesday with Tim: Fun with Bags

First we want to thank all our friends who are nice enough to stop by the blog and keep up with our family news. You are the best. Welcome to the very first Tuesday with Tim. It is a work in progress so it may not always be on the third Tuesday but, so far, this looks like a good fit.
This week I had to fly down and say how much I Love Bags. Not those paper bags all cats love but the ones made with tasty plastic.

These bags are also fun to play in! Dad really frowned upon that too but, at least he gave us paper bags in replacement. I wonder if, when we meet again, he will be policing the bags?

And there also was that plastic that wraps cases of cat food. Yummy. This picture is of me getting busted in 2012. I always liked to chew it and Dad would take it away. We had a real battle going for years. Hee, Hee. Now I am an Angel I can chew all I want.

I came home last week and I had a nice reception from Dad. We talked for a long time and I told him not to be sad. I am now young again and having fun. He said he knows that but still misses me a lot. There were leaky eyes all around. Then he introduced me to Stuffie Tim and I know we are going to be good pals
This week we received a beautiful hanging from our friend L.P. who is the mom of Cat, from Cat Scouts. Thank You!

Dad also found a neat shop on Etsy called CindiHaleCeramicArt. She will do custom work and Timmy is great. I told her the white on his face was not symmetrical and sent pictures. She nailed it! Timmy is between Mr Buttons and Buddy Budd. Just Purrfect.
Dad also got this wonderful hand crafted sleeping tabby on Etsy from NunwellGlass. They have different colors so give them a look

I think it was Eric and Flynns Blogoversary  yesterday. I should have checked but they were off chasing mousies. We Angels never stay still you know

It's the anniversary of our first blog comment on July 19, 2012 by Trout Talkin Tabbies on the post Hot Days, Food Info and Plain Old Cat Fun. Goodness it feels like yesterday

And it is TW's birthday over at Katie Isabella Colors My World. Stop by and say hi and to Katies friend who is back home again from jungle travels.
Hope you enjoyed my first Tuesday with Tim. I sure enjoyed seeing you all again.
Purrs Friends!

We are joining Comedy Plus for Happy Tuesday. I can't wait to see your happy!

  1. Angel Timmy you sure did a great job with your first "Home Again" post! The beautiful wall hanging and the super figurines your Dad found from craftspeople add to a lovely "resting place" for you back home. Angel Sammy says you have settled in so well at the Bridge and are an expert flyer with your wings! We all miss you but know you're "around"......and we will love you forever.

    Hugs, Teddy

  2. Angel Timmy, we, too, think you did a terrific job with your first "Home Again" post. Your dad has created a beautiful memorial for you; we especially love the glass sleeping kitty. ♥

Lots of hugs and purrs to your dad...Life seems to be about surrendering, doesn't it? Surrendering to its Flow, to grief, to the entire process of Being, this experience of being in a body (human, cat, other). Take care.

  4. Dear Timmy how great to see you today. You're looking so young and Youthful and playful. It's a wonderful place for an angel Kitty to be. How is it that all kitties that I've known just love to chew on plastic bags and get in them and play with them. I see you were no different at all. I'm sure your dad misses having you on his lap but his memories go on forever. We'll keep looking for more stories from you so don't forget to stop in and write them with your dad's help.

  6. Oh Timmy, you look SO good, and your Dad has made the best memorial to you and to your brothers Mr. Buttons and Buddy Budd as well. That glass work of art with Timmy is a treasure to have. I love knowing he is flying with ease on the Bridge along with his family there ahead of him. I hope Timmy continues to have his own day each month. We love him dearly. Katie will send Leopard there to be with him!

  7. It's delightful to hear from you, Angel Timmy.
We humans know that our angels don't want us to grieve and cry, but we are only human and when you leave, there is a hole in our lives that never really heals over.
A piece of us goes with you.
    Hugs and purrs.

  8. Good Heavens, that habit of yours would indeed keep your dad busy, Timmy. And yes, you can chew all you want now; nothing will hurt you now - and when you see your dad again, he won’t need to worry about it!

  21. Great job with your first Tuesday post, Timmy! It's so nice to see you, sweet pal. Gracie used to like licking plastic, so we guess it's kind of similar right? Maybe the two of you can chat about it there at the Bridge. Please tell her we love and miss her, okay? Purrs and love to you, too.

  22. A wonderful memorial spot that your Dad made, Angel Timmy. Wonderful art pieces, too.
Petcretary walks past Pipo & Minko every day, and sometimes she has a wee chat with them too. Maybe she needs to check out that Etsy shop...

Angel Pipo was a big fan of all things plastic, shrink wrap the most, followed by zip lock baggies. We had to work hard here to keep him out of that stuff...

  23. That is beautiful area for you. Kitty looks just like you. Your post made me smile as Garfield loves to chew on anything plastic like that but; yet if you get out a bag he is scared of the noise.
