I have to admit it. I was hiding my toothy problems from Dad. He saw me grimace last week when we shared a taste of his muffin. I LOVE muffin but had to stop and paw at my gum.
Ouchie Ouchie Ouchie
Dad took me to the Stabby Place and how I sang. People were pulling their cars over and looking for where the poor cat was. Maybe that is a bit of an exaggeration but I sang LOUD and I sang LONG,
Dad picks me up and puts me on his lap. I get a treat. He gives me medicine, which is not bad, and then another treat. I really like the game and we played all week so I was surprised about going back to the Stabby place. Again Dad, gee-whiskers. So on the way, yeah you guessed it, I sang!
The link is HERE if you cannot see me singing.
They treat me really nice but took a few more toothies. I did not tell Dad that a few had dropped out since my last cleaning and he gave me that look. Sorry Dad. He says some FIV cats loose all their toothies but we will work to keep mine healthy as long as possible. We are starting toothy brushies so I will let you know how that goes in a month or so.
I asked Dad to get some extra home made chick-hen treats out so lets all go and have some! Oh I am still a bit wobbly from that good medicine. MOL
Mr B with FIV
Enjoy dose chikken treats.
ReplyDeleteMy human is really lazy about brushing our teeth, which we don't mind! Fortunately for us, our teeth have held up pretty well. Purrs to you, Buttons!
ReplyDeleteAwww, poor Mr B.

Meowmy brushes our toothies a few times a week, Should be evfurry day, but...well, you know how it goes.
Good singing by the way! MOL!
We get ProDen Plaque Off. It worked so far to keep our teeth clean and free of plaque. And it is yummie.
ReplyDeletePoor kitty. I heard about a natural green powder that you can mix with the food and that helps to keep the teeth clean. Can't remember the name though.
ReplyDeleteOh poor darling..we can't see or hear the video because the puter needs to have something pulled out too I think! but I am pretty sure that I know that song...hope your little mouth feels better soon :( hugs and loves Fozziemum xx
ReplyDeleteWe sure hope the all better finds you soon, and the chicken should help lots!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry about your trip to the doctor, and the loss of your teeth, but at least you are healthier now; hopefully, you will stay that way for a long time to come.
ReplyDeleteOh Buttons buddy, I did not realize you were FIV...and did know that might cause you to lose some tooffies. And we cats are very clever at hiding our pain from the humans...much more clever than the woofies. Paws crossed you are enjoying those chik-hen treats
ReplyDeleteButton, poor buddy, we hope that you ouchie mouth gets better after your two visits at the V-E-T. ! Angel Isis had almost lost all her teeth at the age of 4 ; the V-E-T said it was better for her to have good and healthy gums instead of keeping bad and sick teeth and risk an infection. Chicken noms are a very good remedy ! Purrs

ReplyDeleteWe hope you are feeling better now Mr. Buttons. It really hurts to have your toothies pulled. We are glad that you dad gave you chick hen and lots of attention.
