Oh my, Pete, why did you have to leave us so soon? Mrs H and I are in tears hearing the sad news just now. Pete, if you can see and hear us now, know you brought light, laughter love and friendship to a world that will be darker without you.

Dear Pete, you and your posts are missed so much. Miss the updates on you and furrs. I wonder so much about Einstein and Rumpy, and Fitz and Toby. I trust though that you had more than appropriate contingency plans in place for them. Like many of us, they were your kids. I know Buddy Bud and Timmy passing especially hard for you, buddy. I still remember you telling me the story of when Buddy came to live with you and the family, and how his safe space was the linen closet for a while.
