Angel Timmy here to say how important this day is as we are all shelter, foster or rescue kitties. I was fostered by Spay and Save when Dad adopted me and starting this blog ball rolling |
I was at Kitty Cottage which is a nice rescue where the cats roam their assigned floor. Dad was "just visiting" and I tapped his shoulder. His friend was looking at cats and they came back the next week. Guess who tapped Dad's shoulder a second time. This Cat! Thank You Dad for my wonderful home. |
We are Joining Lola the Rescued Cat to raise awareness of those waiting for you to adopt and not shop! |
We were First Right Guessers on The Tuesday Teaser at Two Spoiled Cats. Hope to see you next week! Maybe you will be a Firstie too but make sure you study! |
We are so thankful to be rescues and are joining Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. As you hop along remember Brian in your purrs, we will be! |

Thank you for a lovely post. We have foster and foster fails. They save lives.
ReplyDeleteYou are all wonderful kitties.
Thankful that you all have permanent homes and caring moms and dads. You are beautiful cats.
ReplyDeleteOur thanks to your Dad for all he's done for homeless kitties needing a forever. All of you who made it to the house where you live with your Dad were EVER SO LUCKY!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Teddy
Rescue shelters and the Humane Societies are real mainstay for cats and dogs. Precious is living with us because she was in a shelter and too shy to even eat or drink. She's been here nearly nine years and she has her issues but overall I think she's a happy cat. I know she makes me happy everyday that I can be with her.
ReplyDeleteMuch good work has been done because of you.
ReplyDeleteThese are so many cats there that need our help. Over here in Scotland, due to lockdowns ending, there are so many dogs in shelters now. People got a dog then gave it up after lockdown and furlough. It is heartbreaking so many animals, not just cats, need our help :-(
ReplyDeleteConcats to the Dad on Tuesday Teaser!
ReplyDeleteThank you to the Dad and all you support shelter/rescue/foster kitties.
xoxoxo, Bibi and Meep
Your Dad is a Superhero for sure! And so are all those who work in shelters helping wonderful kitties and pups.
ReplyDeleteYour dad is pawsomely pawsome! And you kitties are so lucky to have a good home. We love the story about tapping his shoulder! You really let him know you were adopting him. Thank you so much for joining our blog hop.
ReplyDeleteAm more of a dog lover, but like the names you gave all these cats:) Thank you for visiting me!
ReplyDeleteAdoptions are just the best for each and every species and we hope it’s the next big thing. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteWe always had rescue kitties and pups. They need us the most and they are most thankful for a forever home.
ReplyDeleteHave a purrfect Thankful Thursday. Scritches all around and my best to your dad. ♥

ReplyDeleteGreat post… I’ve long thought about volunteering at a local shelter but I’m not sure I could handle seeing great cats who aren’t adopted…
