ReplyDeleteSummertime is the best time to get a burr haircut Einstein. It'll grow back by the time it starts cooling down and you look good no matter what. I'd say Dad did a good job.
ReplyDeleteEinie, that's the trouble with us medium and long haired beauties! We get mats. You dad did a great job. Wish he could trim my back area. Mom said I will have to get my bloomers trimmed when I go to the dreaded v-e-t next! You look great and now...you'll feel as good as you look because those mats won't be pulling your skin.
ReplyDeleteYou're dad did a great job and we hope you feel better now without the matted fur! Angel Chumley, who was long-haired as you are, used to get awful matts on his hind end, but he wouldn't let the biped brush him, so usually 2 - 3 times a year he'd go off to the groomer at the vet clinic to be shaved. It was a bit of patchwork job, but it certainly took care of the matted fur. (The biped was new to cat caretaker-ship at the time and didn't know about lion cuts--something the groomer should have suggested!)

ReplyDeleteMy human had the hardest time with Boodie's fur! She tried to do a combination of cutting through the mats and combing them out, so it wasn't too choppy looking. Good thing she was a very patient cat.

Einstein, my Neville, as you may know, has to get trimmed regularly now. He dislikes being brushed and it doesn’t seem to help him anyway, so he gets what you got. I think it makes him feel better, and I’ll bet you do, too.
