You get The Back of Distain! Alright Rumpy, how long will you be mad? How long till treat time?
Dad here: Rumpy has really been having troubles with mucus and his asthma. For the first time I could not be with him and a friend took him to our new vet. He pitched a fit. The vet, my friend and a tech could not trim his nails he fought so hard. She said he didn't try to scratch or bite but just thrashed so hard they all got it. He is a big boy. After a break he did get his trim of nails and some mats cut. He got an antibiotic shot for a URI and his steroid changed. He is better today and we hope this helps a good bit. Thanks for Purrs |

Rumpy, when you stop being upset, you will be glad for the work the vet clinic put in for you!
ReplyDeleteAwww, Rumpy...you poor thing...Your Dad wants you to feel better, and so you have to endure sometimes...its for the best. Pawyers that the meds will do their good work.
ReplyDeleteGet well soon, Rumpy, we love you!
Vet visits are no fun but it is for your own good, Rumpy. I hope you will soon be feeling better.
ReplyDeleteThat just sounds like a bad day for all of you. Sorry you couldn't be with Rumpy for the trip to the doctor but it's nice that you have someone you can count on to do it for you. Hope the new medicine works well.
ReplyDeleteNone of us enjoy the vet except for cat bro Bert. We could leave him there as he loves the place! Sorry it was so tough for your kitty. Hopefully it will be forgotten soon and he will be feeling better.
ReplyDeleteI've never had a kitty that liked going to the vet. I don't blame you for being angry, after all dad wasn't with you. I know you got treats though. That's the way your dad rolls.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Scritches all around and my best to your dad. ♥
That is upsetting for your Rumpy and hard on the breathing too. It's so hot and humid here and Seal is having problems with her asthma too.
ReplyDeleteOh Rumpy! The indignities you suffer. No cat likes to be poked and prodded ever and not especially by strange vet and a strange tech and a not-Dad. We send you big purrs and paw kisses-xoxox, Bibi & Meep

ReplyDeletePoor guy. I don't blame him for the back of disdain- it is going to take a lot of treats to make up for that. I hope he is better soon. XO
ReplyDeleteRumpy, I had to go too, but I didn't have to go through what you did. I just got my claws trimmed. I will be over later and see if you are feeling better. XX

ReplyDeleteOh, Rumpy, we are sorry you had to go to the vet. And without Dad Pete, too. That must have been so difficult. But you KNOW Dad Pete loves you lots, so don't be too mad for too long, okay?
ReplyDeleteHugs to you both. And we're purring you feel better soon!
Good Heavens, what a difference a dad makes. I'm sorry your dad couldn't be with you, Rumpy, to let you know all would be well. But I'm glad you let them do what they had to, anyway. It was for your own good. I don't like thinking of you ill, Rumpy.
