Two Awww-some Fellas

Timmy wanted to show you his summer trim
Sure did Dad. Dr Lane was so nice doing my ultrasound on Wednesday. I was home in just over an hour

We always relax together when Dad does the sheets. I like this set as it has Gingers who are having fun.
Stripy too Timmy, just like you

I get lots of Chinny Chin Chin Scritches
Oooo, that feels good

The summer sheets are going on and I like to nose the pillows. Good job Dad
Thanks Timmy
Sorry about the spot on my nose. I get that from eating now. Dad cleans me up
Sure do buddy and you are due

So back to my ultrasound. I am really relaxed and purring so Dad tell the story please.
Sure Tim. My best friend has Lymphoma. He has 2 small spots in his small intestine, 2 larger in his tummy and lots in his lungs.
That is why my purr is a bit rough but I breathe just fine. I have Steroids and Ear-Taz so am eating pretty well.
We are going to enjoy each others company, like today, for as long as we can, and Timmy says he is comfy.
You betcha Dad. We communicate really well

You know you still can't tuck a corner
Chin Scritches are more important
I agree. Be happy for us friends. We enjoy every day together

We are joining Comedy Plus for Awww Monday. Hope to see you on the hop too because you are some Awww-some friends

  6. Timmy, I guess it's a good thing to find out what's been making you not so healthy. That it certainly is not a good thing what has been found. You and your dad enjoy every purring moment to the fullest. We certainly are thinking about you all the time.

(In case you're wondering, I just learned that "having one's six" means

  22. I have not shared this publicly before now - but it sounds like Timmy's results are close to Bear's. We didn't get all the answers - but I suspect he had lymphoma that metastasized to his lungs (the vet saw the nodules in Bear's lungs on the xray and saw lumps in his small intestine in the ultrasound). You guys aren't alone and I wanted to be sure to stop by and tell you I understand. By the way, has your vet tested Timmy for histoplasmosis? It's a shot in the dark - but when we got Bear's results, our internal medicine vet told me that OR cancer could account for what she saw. We got the results after Bear passed - and they were negative. Technically, histoplasmosis is treatable - though I was told the cats get worse before they get better and treatment can last up to 6 months. I don't want to give you false hope. This sucks either way. Sending love and hugs for you and Timmy.

  28. I'm terribly sorry about what's happening to you, Timmy. But you and your dad are right: enjoy each other for as long as you can - just like my friend Parker and I did. We had much longer together than the doctor thought we would, and we made the most of it. The best of luck to you, Timmy, and many good days ahead.
