Hello friends. We want to say thanks so much for stopping by today. The lifeblood of a blog are its readers and we sure do love you all. Now let me talk about my Thankful this week, snacks. I recently had something happen, we are still not sure exactly what, that really hit my appetite. Dad was on it and worked with me to get me eating, not with big meals, but with snacks. You see I have never been one to sit and gorge like some members of this home, rather I like to graze all day. With me now getting the fanciest of feasts that is hard as others suck up all that Dad puts down. Snacks are the answer. I come in and sit on the table with Toby and Dad gives me my snack. Today to start off I ate a quarter of a can and then through the morning I had another half. This afternoon I had a few licks but that is my normal for a total of just about a can overall before dinner. Tonight I will have have snacks as I sit on the couch with Dad for maybe another half can or so. Sometimes I gobble up a good bit while other times just a few licks but Dad is ready when I am, fending off those who would polish off my snacks in a flash. I feel much better now and hope they can figure out what is going on but Dad will continue serving me snacks for as long as is needed. Did you know Buddy Budd had snacks for two years? It is so nice to have my snacks and a Dad who loves me enough to give them to me. |

Oh, Timmy, Your Dad loves and cares for you so much! Its good to know you do eat, be it with snacks or however...
ReplyDeleteWe are thankful for your eating and your Dad's tender care...and of course we love all your furblings, too:)
Your dad loves you and whatever it takes to build your appetite back up, he will do it.
ReplyDeleteNellie was the Queen of snacks. We truly understand Timmy. You are a really lucky guy to have a Dad who understands and makes sure you get enough snacks. We continue the purrayers. We hope you all have a marvellously happy day!
ReplyDelete"Whatever works" - that's our motto here too. Glad the snacking works - that's sort of what Mom is doing with me as I have NOT been happy being forced away from dry food to wet. I just have little bits at a time and Mom will feed me those little bits whenever I will have them. Good luck Timmy - your Dad will take care to see that you EAT when YOU want to eat!

Timmy having snacks with your dad is a wonderful way for some special time together. And you're getting lots of nourishment. That's very important and you must remember that when you're eating your snacking food. Maybe you're just following in the footsteps of Buddy Bud and have figured out that this is a good way for some special time together.
ReplyDeleteTimmy, snacks are great! Some kitties just prefer to graze and eating in smaller quantities can be easier on the tummy. Derry gets fed many times through the day now that the biped is working from home, because he'll throw up if he's too hungry and then eats too much. Even the biped prefers to graze, it's better for HER system! So whatever works for you is awesome, as long as you keep eating. Purrs from Derry! ♥
ReplyDeleteSnacks are super!! We know your Dad loves you and will always do what is right for you.

Timmy, we are all super thankful you are eating. Please keep it up no matter in what manner you have to do it. We do wish Dad Pete could have found out what was causing you not to want to eat. We will continue to send you POTP. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer & Kizmet
ReplyDeleteYour dad is always looking for ways to improve his family's lives. I try the same with my Tucker, but I'm a bit hampered by having to be at work all day (what a waste of time that is, when I could be at home with my cats!) Tucker is a grazer, too, so I've taken to putting a bowl with some soft-food on the floor with the hard. I'm trying to cut back on his Mirtazapine, but I don't think skipping a day will work.
ReplyDeleteTimmy, your success is our success, so you keep eating and we'll keep following your progress.
I'm glad your human works with your snack schedule, Timmy. My human had to do that with Sparkle, so she knows how much work that can be.
ReplyDeleteDr Daddy ~ knows what you need, does what is needed. He's your bestest daddy in the whole wide world and you are one lucky Timmy Tomcat to have him.
ReplyDeleteKeep on keepin' on, both of you!
We are so glad you are eating better Timmy ! We knew Dad would take the best care of you !
ReplyDeletewe are thankful you are eating lots of delicious snacks and have such a wonderful Dad too.
