| Thanks so much for stopping by today friends. It always makes us purr when you stop by for thankful Thursday, and, all the days you do. We think of you as our friends and that is what we are thankful for this week, friends. Friends who care enough to visit. Let us explain why. You see we had that early summer heat wave like so many of you did over the past week. Were we ready? Not in the least. Imagine or surprise when Dads friend stopped by on Sunday morning to put in our AC units. He said he had been doing them for his family all week but wanted to stop by and get ours in too. He took the time to help us even though we are in a town over from his. A friend like that is something to be thankful for. Yes it is. No matter for something little, large or to just chat a friend stopping by is really all that. What are you thankful for this week friends? We can't wait to hear about that. |

ReplyDeleteThe weather here has changed at last from heavy rain and mid 40s to a lovely sunny day yesterday and 66F temperature. Hopefully it will last through the weekend. Good weather makes people feel better.
Oh, Timmy, that was so kind of your furriend and it's very valuable to have furriends like that💗Pawkisses for a wonderful day to all of you. It's very cold in our Country, with lots of cold rain, but we hope that it will change soon🐾😽💞

We're thankful to see you this morning Timmy. And hear the generous news of your Dad's friend. It was hot here too and even though it was a bit too warm, I do have to say I was thankful. So glad winter is over I just put on the shorts try to stay cool and hope the Precious isn't too hot. She's not been sleeping on my legs the last 10 days and I miss that.
ReplyDeleteThank dog you got a/c! How odd you have to put it in and maybe take it out every year. Ours is just a switch to flip and we enjoyed ours as well in the heat wave. Now it is cold and we are contemplating turning on the heat again.
ReplyDeleteThat was so very kind! We're glad you have your a/c installed and hope it will keep you all cool through the summer heat. The biped had central air installed about 6 years ago, worth every penny (we had nothing but fans before that).

THAT was a friend indeed. I'm grateful for you all right along with you. I have to wait for a lot of things that I cannot do myself. I try to hire help but sometimes you can't because the job is so piddlin'. I won't ask anyone so that shoots opportunities away ...how can they know if I won't ask. Wimmin. You can't live with us and you can't live without us...right?

ReplyDeleteAs for me, Timmy, I’m grateful for my holidays, which start today! It’s a small thing in the grand scheme, but it is something I look forward to, and it means I can spend more time with the cats - and that’s always something for which to be thankful.
So great to have friends that think if your well being and helped you get the AC in...we needed ours, too, but today we have the heat on...go figure!
