Timmy's Thankful Visitors

Hi Friends. The family is really Thankful you are visiting this week and we have a nice story. The other night Dad and I were relaxing on the cat-recliner (we let him use it) when there was a Meow. Hark, we listened, but, just one. The next night the same and when Dad checks, no cat.
I put out a snack and it was gone the next day. I decided to  put out the Cat-Cam worried that it's a cold homeless kitty who is in need!

Guess who, it's Fanny. I appreciate the snack out front but keep the back door open too.

I am really Thankful for the good meals I had all winter. It was really cold and even though I have a shed to keep me out of the weather there wasn't much prey with all the snow

Then, an hour later Big Ginger shows up!
Ooo, Stinky Goodness

Fanny and I patrol the same route but I have a home, somewhere. That meowed I am really Thankful for this little snackeroo.

Then, way later!
Darn. Those cats are too fast for me! Maybe next time
Dad here. We were so Thankful that there are no new kitties in our area. We will continue to keep watch just in case

We are joining Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. What are you thankful for this week?

  1. Oh, MY!! I had a good giggle at the possum!
He was hungry...but a good thing the kitties came first to your yummy buffet!

  2. It was nice of Fanny to let you know she was waiting for an extra snack. The possum was out of luck though.

  3. Well, I guess that possum missed out on the good stuff. This time!

  4. Fanny and big Ginger looked so good eating their food. Good thing you heard their meow. Wouldn't want to miss those two. And then of course you get a possum.

  6. HAHAHA......you have a popular restaurant there - two cats and a possum. The possum must have forgotten to make a reservation though!

  8. I love that you have that area for your friends in need, I wish our house was set up like that, it is a good idea. Great news that there are no new kitties in need, fingers crossed it stays that way. Our possums have learned to come before the ferals, so we have to refill the bowls after they leave - MOL!

  9. Love seeing the nourishment for the cats but don't care to lure in possums. One tangled with my young dog and the scratch caused pain for days.

  10. Bless you for keeping watch and feeding the kitties that are outside. It's the least we can do.

Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday, Dad Pete and all the kitties. ♥

  13. Guys, your Dad ROCKS! The cats do look thankful. and wild life too! You guys have loads coming by. It is becoming spring here. The other night we saw the first bear of the year (looking for something to eat) and a whole flock of robins were singing outside the bedroom window before the sun came up! Have a marvellously Happy Day!

  15. Opossum and other critters are notorious for getting into cat food. There are three different cats that pass through our yard at random times but judging how healthy they appear on our home security cameras I'd say they have a home(s). We also have Opossum, fox, coyote, groundhog, and racoon out at night. During the day, we see a lot of squirrel and rabbits when the weather is nice. There is evidence of mole or something burrowing throughout our yard. Whatever is doing that I want it to pack its bags and move! :)

  16. There is magnificent black cat who roams our neighborhood. I am never fast enough to catch a photo op. I think she is a girl, or at least the kitty wears a hot pink collar. Very unusual cat too. Makes my poor Mister KItty look as thoguh he never gets enough to eat! Love seeing the photos and such. Thank you :-)
