We sure are thankful for all our friends who come to visit us both those we have known for a short while and those we have known for longer. Also for the visitors who come to the back room for a snack. But imagine our surprise when this fellow showed up. The past week has been sad for us as we have said goodbye to some friends. We are so thankful that we knew them and we know when the day comes we shall all meet again. Please visit and let them know you are thinking of them.

We pups have only known you for a short time, but our petcretary has known you for many years, and we are grateful to call all of you our wonderful friends.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words, and for the tribute.
I think your birdie visitor is a red breasted nuthatch.
(But tell those Tabbies o'TT to shut their eyes, LOL!)
Thank you for your kind words about Boodie.
ReplyDeleteThere have been too many losses of good friends the last few days. They are all loved and will be missed.
ReplyDeleteSad things have come in threes this week....we'll miss them all.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam and Teddy too
It's so hard on the heart to lose dear friends and companions. :-(
ReplyDeleteHowever, we do like your visitor! S/he has come to cheer you up, perhaps.
We would be most thankful if one of our Angel pals would shut the gates to the Rainbow Bridge. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet little visitor! This is a sad week, so many have crossed that bridge, it is heartbreaking.
ReplyDeleteThat was quite the sweet and cute little visitor ~ wonderful photo ^_^
ReplyDeleteSo sad to lose our furry friends ~ xox

Oh dear me do I 100% agree. Losing friends is so very hard....Sending hugs for hearts to be healed in time. It took a while; however, now we are able to remember Angel Madi with fond memories and giggles. So many things happen in a day that give us happy memories.
ReplyDeleteI have a Flash back post coming up next week. Mutts cartoon gave us the giggles about Madi too
Hugs Cecilia
It has been a very sad week. XO
ReplyDeletehow far bak we all go frum da dayz oh catster ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful surprise to have a feathered friend visit! The problem with having friends is that it hurts so much when you lose them
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute visitor! It's been a very sad week.
ReplyDeleteI've known you quite a while and I am so glad I do.
ReplyDeleteSometimes, a new friend...even a temporary one like this birdy...can lift one's spirits.
ReplyDeleteWe have lost some good friends, may they rest in peace.
What a delightful visitor 😺😊
ReplyDeleteWe're Thankful for you too, my furriends and for that birdie..*whispers* is he still intact🙊*😸Extra Pawkisses🐾😽💞
ReplyDeleteIt's embarrassing that I have to admit that I wasn't able to visit my favourite blogs all last week. I was very busy with helping organise our rescue's first on-line auction. It's a bit nerve-wracking: any mistakes in running it will be right out in the open for all to see!
ReplyDeleteWe make friends and we lose them. Relationships never stand still, do they? Sometimes I wish they could, so we could keep our friends with us forever...
Happy Heavenly Birthday, Mr Pete!
ReplyDeleteWe are sure there is one huge crowd to help you celebrate, both feline and other Angels.
You were much loved and we all miss you, you are forever loved ♥
