Come on Timmy show me how to open cabinets. When you're older. How old? When you loose that kittenish Floof. Oh, alright |

Cabinet opening is for sure a great skill....but only one of the six kitties here over the years had mastered it! MOL!!
ReplyDeleteAngel Groucho, he could and did do it...we had child proof devices here long before there were children here. Hah!
I think you're old enough!
ReplyDeleteYou've given me an idea!
ReplyDeleteOnly adults are allowed to open the cabinets. Einstein, you'll just have to wait till you're bigger and older. In the meantime maybe I'll give you some crumbs.
ReplyDeleteWe'd like to learn too.

ReplyDeleteEinstein, you may be waiting a long time because we don’t think you’re ever gonna lose that floof.
ReplyDeleteWe could use some of those lessons too - we haven't figured out how to open the treat cabinet:)
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Hopefully you don't need kitty-locks on your cabinets. I had to do that with one of my cats who could open the cabinet doors.
ReplyDeleteI think it takes a while to lose that kitty floof...MOL😸Pawkisses for a Happy Wednesday🐾😽💞
ReplyDeleteDearest Timmy Tomcat,
ReplyDeleteYep, our Spooky, the one that we lost at age 3.5 due to heartworm (yep, the vet had changed the brand that used to protect him and instead swapped it for protection against ticks...) knew how to open doors!
Our Barty boy, the one that is now the eldest of the six, 16 years and seven months, was still young and he sat there at the staircase area where Spooky stood tall and hung with two hands on the door handle. Then pulling the rubber strip below until it got open. Sat one day inside Pieter's workshop downstairs, looking into the Rose Suite's hallway into the staircase area that led into the garage...
Spooky gave me a few times the stinky eye as he KNEW I was in there! So like, come out Mammi and help me open that metal door! He managed... That was shortly before we installed two cat doors. Spooky also walked with me on a leash and his favorite was to drink from a dripping faucet that I turned on for him in the laundry room at the round sink... They are so very smart!
Barty got raised by Spooky and got to sleep on my underpillow (the big European square that sticks out from below my standard pillow) which had been his spot till Barty came to our home. That's where he slept till March, when he no longer came upstairs and preferred to sleep downstairs, even on the 'warm' driveway. I took him to the vet at that time and slept with him in our veranda, confining him to kitchen/veranda. He got a steroid shot and perked back up but once again he got way down... It makes us human parents ache so much and we try to do the utmost for them.
Hugs,
Mariette
