| Kind of a good play on meows don't-cha think so sorry if you were looking for a cute kitten photo. This week at my Birthday I was 13. Not old for a cat but not young at any stretch. I still get around really well, like to play, nom and nap. Most of all looking back on these years the love my family gives me and I give back is the best part. No matter your age that is most the most important! |

| Our dear friend Mauricio from The Cat on My Head went to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. We will miss that face my friend. Miss that little thumbs-up mark you had on your nose that showed your can-do spirit. Knowing that he had the love of his Mom, Dad and Family helps. He was a Cat Scout of exemplary status and was loved by all there as well. He led us to fun and adventure while keeping a steady paw on the ideals that made him who he was. He ran Mauricio's Bake Shop and supplied wonderful pastries for birth and gotcha days along with special events. He and his wife Allie were coming up on their 4th anniversary and there too was deep love. Yes love is the important part. Not for how long you have it but how deeply it is given and received. |

| Fly free Mauricio and we will meet again on the day set by heaven. We know the Angels welcome you with open paws and you will see many old friends in the front row. We will miss you so very much dear friend! |

Thirteen is a very good age for a cat, Timmy. My Renn is thirteen and as healthy as ever (knock on wood).
ReplyDeleteI visited Mauricio’s people and left a message of condolences. It’s very sad when our friends leave. We humans have had too much of that, I think, especially lately.
