Thankful Toby


We are joining Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Hope you do too


Hi Friends. Toby here and I am so glad to see you all here with things to be thankful for. When you think about it we are really lucky to have good homes, families and friends. This week I went to the Vet. Yes its no fun and I sang the song of my people but the truth is Dad wants me to be healthy and I am. How great is that. I am so thankful my health, Dad caring and loving me and you dear friends. 
Of course I am Thankful for being a Really Handsome Panfur too!

    First, you are correct, you are one handsome man cat (Lily is swooning). You made a good point about the vet (or, as we refer to it, the "stabby place"). Our vet runs a "fearless" practice and it's not so bad going there. The Female Human insists that we have wellness exams so we too, serenade her with the song of our people all the way there.

    It's not fun for a human to go to the doctor, either, Toby, but, like you say, we're grateful for our health - and for the people who look after it for us!

    I wrote an article awhile back about music that is written specifically for helping cats with anxiety, including for when they go to the vet. I have played it for my cat and also a stray that I was taking to the vet to have neutered and it really does seem to be soothing to them. https://wowmypetdidthat.com/can-music-soothe-the-vet-wary-kitty-a-new-study-says-yes/
