Hi everyone Miss Fitz here! Today we are joining in with The Cat on My Head for their Sunday Selfie Blog Hop. |
|
It has been a sad few weeks with the loss of many friends.
Today we are remembering a little scrap of fur that Dad fostered for three short days. He was thought to be born on 04/08/11 and was brought to Dad along with his sisfurs and brofurs on May 16th from New Jersey after his feral mother had been killed. |
|
Dad saw right away that he was very tiny. At half the weight of his sisters and brothers he was hardly a kitten. Just a tiny scrap
of fur. Dad named him Teeny Tiny. |
|
He was started on kitten formula as he had a hard time eating.
When Dad went in their room for breakfast he was gone.
He went over the Rainbow Bridge but not before he got three days of love from Dad. |
|
Luckily the other kitties all thrived with Dads care and were all adopted to loving families within a few months. We remember Teeny Tiny every year as a symbol of those who
are lost. Please Support TNR and free Spay/Neuter programs
where you live. Thank You |
|
The next group of kittys Dad took in had guess who with them. It was not an easy time but in the end it worked out. Here is my Happy in my Forever Home Selfie. |
PS: Come by tomorrow, May 20th, for me Miss Fitz's
8th Birthday Bash! I promise no whapping of guests

That was a lovely selfie Miss Fitz, very knowing and authoritative. I have to say that your post brought tears to my eyes. Teeny Tiny had a chance and that chance was at life and love. It was good of your dad to be there and give that chance and love, for no matter how short a time.
ReplyDeleteSending lots of purrs to you all, and to all who are not so fortunate.

ReplyDeleteWhat a nice memorial post to Teeny Tiny - and bless your Dad and all the other fosters who try too help "even the least of these."
ReplyDeleteWhat a moving tribute to a lovely young kitten. My condolences on the sad loss even though it was some time ago. Bless you Teeny Tiny and look down to us from the Bridge to see how your family is doing OK?
ReplyDeleteWhat a precious little angel. Thank you for giving him a few days of love.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry Teeny Tiny didn't make it. As you wrote, he was loved for the time he was with your sweet Dad.
ReplyDeleteMommy;s eyes are very leaky. Thank you so so much for loving this littlest baby.
ReplyDeleteSometimes God allows us to hold a treasure for only a short time before He takes it back.
ReplyDeletePoor little Teeny Tiny but BLESS your Dad for doing his best to help him make it. Some things just weren't meant to be and the little guy may have had such bad health issues that he was "Angel-bound" when he was born. Your Dad is a hero for fostering...anyone who does that is an ANGEL ON EARTH.
ReplyDeleteLove, Teddy and Mom Pam
