Me and Einstein spent last week at Cat Scout Summer Camp.
It sure was fun Timmy. I loved Camp Curry at Yellowstone National Park.
It was amazing and we meowed about the sights in last Fridays post Letters from Camp.
Today we wanted to meow about crafts and a very impawtent knot every cat should now in case of emergency. Take it away Timmy.
Thanks Einstein. A Bowline knot is handy for many things but it is what Fireman and Rescue Cats use to save kittens or silly humans from holes after they fall in.
Or maybe pull a human up a cliff after their car runs off. They do that from drinking too much of that hootch stuff.
True, very true. Unfortunate that they cant enjoy a good nip of nip.
4. The rabbit hops back down the hole. Pull tight. You now have a loop that will not tighten. That way you don't squish the kitten or human or thing you are pulling up. |
Thanks Timmy
Sure thing Einie. Now you take it away.
Sal-right!
We both made Garrison Caps with a sharp red accent. Furst you cut the pattern. There were two rectangle and two longer pieces that were like a banana if the center was straight. |
We used a back stitch to put the two rectangles and long bits together. The rectangles are the middle part you see. |
The long bits made up the outside as you can see here. See how the ends go down. Very sharp. Umm, Einie, you furgot the "how to" photos didn't you. Sowwy. But I will make up fur it How? |
By modeling of course. I look very sharp! |
Yes you do. Now I will show our other craft project. We made an Infinity Scarf fur Dad.
The stencils were difficult to use but we learned a lot and the next one will be a masterpiece. Some of the other Scouts really had amazing looking scarfs. |
Hey I was going to model it! Sowwy Lets let who it was made fur model it |
Thanks fellows. I think I will go stock up on free cat food. Really, neat. Where is that Dad Oh... Anywhere I guess... See ya later guys. |
See you Dad.
